Daily Local News: “Natural Lands Trust helping East Goshen assess resources”

EAST GOSHEN — Almost everybody is in favor of preserving open space. That's why residents nearly always approve referendums for their townships to purchase land for open-space preservation.

While municipalities use their open space for passive or active recreation, part of owning the land is learning how to be good stewards of the land.

As Natural Lands Trust's new stewardship handbook says, "Natural lands don't take care of themselves."
