Large-flowered Bellwort is a spring ephemeral with a unique gestalt. It looks mildly drooping and flimsy until the flowers emerge and add the “wow” factor. Large plants drip with twisting, pale yellow flowers that hang upside-down like bells, inspiring this plant’s common name.
