Ann Hutchinson

Senior Director of Community Planning

As senior director of municipal planning, Ann works with municipal officials and planners in developing ordinances and subdivision plans that enable communities to conserve their open space and natural resources as part of the development process.

Before working for Natural Lands, Ann was the planning and community development director in Lower Merion Township, a lively first-ring suburb of Philadelphia.

Ann earned a B.A. in English Literature from Northwestern University and a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the State University of New York, Syracuse. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Ann’s favorite place to spend time outdoors is on the beach in Maine.
