We will be led on a guided, nature-based outing by our expert staff and discover together the wonders of nature. Space is limited.

Join us for a guided hike led by Zane Miller, Mariton Wildlife Sanctuary manager, through a healthy, diverse woodland and beautiful spring meadow with peeks of the Delaware River. Absorb the beauty of spring and connect with fellow members.

Meet Us Outside – Birding near Glades Wildlife Refuge

Fortescue Beach and Glades Wildlife Refuge, NJ

Get a first-hand look at the globally significant migration of Red Knots on the Delaware Bayshore, along with other inland birds. Led by Glades Wildlife Refuge Manager, Zac Bohm, we will start at Fortescue Beach in Fortescue, NJ—a Red Knot migration hot spot. Following our time at Fortescue, we will drive 15 minutes further into Glades Wildlife Refuge for a walk to Turkey Point to look for eagles, ospreys, and more.

Meet Us Outside – Walk at Crow’s Nest

Crow’s Nest Preserve, Elverson, PA

Explore the recent Warwick Woods addition to Crow’s Nest Preserve and learn about the transformation of this former campground to meadow and woodland. Formerly filled with 150 campsites and seven major buildings—including a general store, game room, bath houses, pavilion, and swimming pool—Warwick Woods is now home to a woodland garden, a pollinator meadow, and much more. Join us for a guided walk led by Dan Barringer, Crow’s Nest Preserve manager.
