Join us for a stroll, walk, or hike and outdoor camaraderie on a series of events exclusive to members of the Conservationists, Natural Lands’ leadership annual gift society, and their guests. We will be led on a guided, nature-based outing by our expert staff and discover together the wonders of nature. Space is limited.

Meet Us Outside – Hike at Sadsbury Woods Preserve

Thursday, October 16, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Coatesville, PA

Join us for a guided, three-mile hike led by Erin Smith, preserve manager, through one of the region’s largest remaining unbroken forests as the autumn colors begin. We’ll move at a steady, comfortable pace along scenic trails that wind through mature woodlands alive with fall foliage.

Meet Us Outside – Hike at Peacedale Preserve

Landenberg, PA

Witness the beginning of a thriving woodland where more than 11,000 native trees and shrubs were recently planted to restore forest cover, improve water quality, and support wildlife. This guided 2.5-mile hike along rolling hills will be led by Gary Gimbert, vice president of stewardship, with Preserve Manager Jill Sabre joining to highlight the planting site and share insights into the restoration effort.

Meet Us Outside – Tree Planting at Stroud Preserve

West Chester, PA

Be part of a transformative afforestation effort at one of our most popular preserves. Grab your gloves and help plant hundreds of trees at Stroud Preserve. Preserve Manager Jill Sabre will direct our efforts; our goal is to plant 600 trees. Whether you stay for the whole event or just part of it, your time and energy will make a lasting impact.
