Short’s Goldenrod
Solidago shortii ‘Solar Cascade’
‘Solar Cascade’ is absolutely delightful planted near a path or edge where its long arching stems can reach out with golden flowers that seem to pour down its side. It is disease resistant and extremely drought tolerant once established so the blooms can be enjoyed from late summer through fall. This is a selection of the federally endangered Solidago shortii, so even if you already have some goldenrod, adding this is a great way to boost biodiversity among the species.
