Rue Anemone
Thalictrum thalictroides
Dainty and oh so delightful. Rue Anemone is a charming wildflower that boasts small white blooms for weeks in the early spring. The leaflets resemble a plethora of tiny animal paws and sway sweetly in the wind, giving rise to its other common name, windflower. In the summer, plants go dormant to rise again the following spring. Tougher than it looks, it deserves a place in every garden.
