River Birch
Betula nigra ‘Dickinson’ Northern Tribute®
In the dead of winter when almost all color has faded away, we can rely on texture to liven up our landscapes. River birch has a gorgeous peeling bark that dazzles in hues of ivory and copper and in fall its dark green leaves change to golden yellow. This particular cultivar is also more adaptable to dry and compacted soil than other river birch selections, allowing for greater versatility.
