Red Turtlehead

Chelone obliqua ‘Armitpp02’ Tiny Tortuga™

Cute plant alert! Topping out at less than 18″ tall, this little fella not only boasts hot pink flowers that look like adorable little turtle heads, but also lustrous dark green leaves that deer tend to avoid. It is an almost perfect shade plant that tolerates a wide range of soil conditions from wet to average moisture. It can even be grown in full sun. As added bonus, it’s a delight to watch plump bumblebees squeeze their way into the flowers.

Conditions: Shade to full sun; wet to average soil
Size: 18″ tall
