Physostegia virginiana ‘Eyeful Tower’
Few perennials stand taller than ‘Eyeful Tower’. This cultivar of Obedient Plant reportedly tops out at 7′ in moist, rich soil, though 5′ – 6′ is more realistic in an average garden setting. Purple/pink spiked flower arrive in summer and are accompanied by glossy deep green leaves. Add as a dramatic accent in a tall perennial border or rain garden.
