Blue Wood Aster

Few plants flower in sun and shade, but Blue Wood Aster has you covered either way. Its truly impressive adaptability means you can look to it for almost any garden area. Heart-shaped leaves stay low to the ground, creating a nice spring ground cover. In early to mid-fall, the foliage disappears under blankets of dainty, light blue blooms. This tough plant is a favorite of bees, skippers, and other butterflies.
