Appalachian Ragwort is a beautiful, native wildflower in the aster family that is found in a variety of dry habitats. Profusions of radiant yellow flowers appear in April. This perennial shows excellent color and texture with basal leaves that are deeply serrated and stem leaves that are sharply lobed.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade; sandy, well-drained soil
