Monkeyflower is an adorable, moisture-loving perennial that makes a lovely addition to any rain garden. It even tolerates standing water and occasional flooding, so it could be perfect in that low spot in your yard that never seems to dry out between rains. Its delicate purple flowers resemble those of snapdragons and can bloom for over a month in the summer, attracting bumblebees of all sorts.
