Melissa Garonzik

Senior Director of Development

As senior director of development, Melissa oversees Natural Lands’ membership, institutional giving, and planned giving programs.

With a true passion for fundraising, she has more than two decades of experience. Prior to joining the Natural Lands team, she served as executive director of annual giving for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Past work experience also includes Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals and American Friends Service Committee.

Melissa developed a love of nature in her childhood at summer camp in the mountains. To this day, she finds spending time on a trail a calming and grounding experience.

She graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in communications.
