Elaine Casey

Director of Institutional Giving

As director of institutional giving, Elaine manages Natural Lands’ relationships with private foundations and corporate donors.

Prior to working for Natural Lands, she spent nearly 20 years building and managing grant portfolios for mission-driven nonprofits and serving as a foundation program officer.

Of her nonprofit experience, Elaine says, “When your goals align and the partnership is strong, that’s the best.”

Like many of us, Elaine’s relationship with nature formed early in childhood. She remembers skating across miles of frozen river and marshland during long New England winters. “I loved watching how everything transformed with the seasons.”

Elaine earned a Master of Arts in communication from the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from Tufts University.
