These walks are exclusive to members and guests of the Allston Jenkins Legacy Society and the White Oak Society, whose support has a truly meaningful impact on both our day-to-day priorities and long-term commitment of saving open space, caring for nature, and connecting people to the outdoors and each other.

Led by our expert staff, these guided nature outings offer an opportunity to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of fall. Stay for camaraderie and refreshments after the walks, which are limited to 25 people.

ChesLen Preserve

Coatesville, PA
Sunday, October 12, 1:00 – 4:30 PM

Enjoy trails through rolling Chester County hills, vibrant wildflower meadows, shaded ravines, and rare serpentine barrens—keeping watch for migrating raptors and songbirds along the way.

Preserve Manager Sean Quinn will be leading this six-mile hike over diverse trails with several stream crossings and moderate elevations. We’ll walk at a moderate pace.
