Delaware County is sometimes thought of as the neglected stepchild of conservation in the region, but that is far from the truth. While it is densely populated, the county still contains some very special landscapes and waterways - both preserved and deserving of protection.

Natural Lands Trust is headquartered here in Marple Township and is engaged with dozens of municipalities that are trying to establish and implement effective open space plans. We continue to look for opportunities to preserve natural lands, as we did recently with the 33-acre Greenbank Farm next door to our headquarters.
