Partnerships

The conservation needs of the Delaware Valley are tremendous. No one organization could ever do it all. Natural Lands Trust is particularly aware of this and we know that we are much more likely to succeed through partnerships than we ever could on our own.

Partnerships take many forms.

  • Formal partnerships like we have with Montgomerty County Lands Trust - building on our capacity and their local relationships.
  • Consulting contracts such as those we have with East Bradford Township, North Coventry Township and other area municipalities. In these townships we help implement their open space plans by contacting landowners and negotiating deals.
  • Informal alliances with other conservation organizations in which we collaborate on complex projects.

In many cases, the land or easement will be held by a partner organization, not Natural Lands Trust.

You can find out more under Tools and Resources for Conservation Groups in the Get Tools section of the Conservation Action Center.
