As one of the region’s largest private owners of preserved lands, we have both a breadth and
depth of experience in caring for a variety of landscapes and are continually exploring new
and better approaches to problems like invasive plant control, reforestation, wildlife
management, native plant promotion and much more.
When a community takes ownership of preserved lands, they face this same need to care for
their land, but may not have the resources or even know where to begin. Natural Lands Trust’s
land stewardship and planning professionals are available to share their experience and
develop detailed land management plans to guide a community’s long-term open space management
efforts and help identify the resources they’ll need to implement that plan.
- Comprehensive management plans for specific properties or for community-wide systems
- Review of proposed management plans
- Technical assistance on implementation of native grasslands, reforestation and invasive
management
- Grant writing and administration
